I’m a Taiwanese cook, storyteller, and chef based in the UK.
Food has always been the way I understand the world, and the way I connect with people. It’s how I carry memory, culture, care, and a sense of home, especially when life feels complicated or unsettled.
I grew up moving between places, cultures, and kitchens. Over time, cooking became more than recipes or technique. It became a way of looking after people, of telling stories without having to explain everything, and of creating moments where people can slow down and feel held. My cooking is rooted in Taiwanese home food, shaped by American and Japanese influences, and guided by a belief that food doesn’t need to be complicated to be meaningful.
Today, I work across different formats. I host intimate dinners and supperclubs, cook pop-ups and collaborations, and take on private events. I’m drawn to food that feels thoughtful rather than showy, generous rather than performative. Meals that feel comforting, familiar, and intentional. Food that creates space for conversation, quiet, and connection.
Alongside cooking, I also share stories about food, motherhood, and everyday life. About what it means to care for others, to live between cultures, and to find grounding through small, ordinary rituals like cooking and eating together. Food often holds the things we don’t quite know how to say, and I’m interested in that space.
This site is a home for all of that. The cooking, the experiences, and the ongoing exploration of how food can nourish us, not just physically, but emotionally too.
